The EU Delegation in Palestine signed the financing agreement ENI/2018/041-137 titled “Support to sustainable economic development and enhanced governance” with the Palestinian Authority.
As part of this agreement, the EU launched a direct award procedure to implement the program “Enhancing Gaza Economic Resilience”.
The programme aims to address the current political and economic context in the Strip and enhancing Gaza economic resilience with a total value of 7 million Euro.
It is a Gaza-specific intervention, designed to address the current political and economic context in the Strip and developing the concept of Humanitarian/Development nexus for the promotion of productive investments.
In this context, the objective of this project is to provide effective and efficient services for the monitoring, evaluation and lesson learning for the EU Cooperation Programme “Enhancing Gaza Economic Resilience”.
Services are aimed a) to strengthen cooperation effectiveness and performance, supporting the different layers of management and decision making (Implementing Partners, Steering Committee and EU Cooperation) with a clear result-oriented focus and b) provide lessons and recommendations that may strengthen the effectiveness of future cooperation efforts.
